ABOUT
Hi! I'm Shana :). I’m a licensed psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, and board-certified behavior analyst with over a decade of experience supporting children, families, and educators across school and community settings. My work is grounded in a career spent training teachers, consulting with school systems, and directly supporting children with learning and behavioral needs.

Much of my work has focused on partnering with school districts to design and implement evidence-based behavior management and instructional practices, including multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). Over the years, I’ve led professional development and consultation for administrators, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams on classroom management, behavioral interventions, inclusive practices, and restorative and culturally responsive approaches. In these roles, I’ve helped schools move towards consistent, measurable implementation through coaching, performance feedback, and data-based decision making.

Before graduate school, I worked in K–12 schools as a classroom teacher, team leader, and instructional coach. These experiences continue to inform my work, which is consistently centered on strengthening educator skills in ways that are feasible, equitable, and aligned with the realities of school environments.

Alongside classroom and systems-level work, I provide direct behavioral and psychological services to children and families. This includes conducting comprehensive evaluations, implementing individualized interventions, and coaching parents and teachers to support a wide range of academic and behavioral needs. Families and educators often relay how much they value my ability to translate complex assessment and behavioral data into clear, actionable recommendations that support skill-building and long-term behavior change.

In addition to my private practice, I’m an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Temple University, where I train future school psychologists and behavior analysts. I’m also an active trainer, presenter, and scholar, with peer-reviewed publications and national and state conference presentations focused on effective teacher professional development, inclusive practices, and reducing educational disparities through evidence-based practices. Together, my academic work and applied experience showcase my dedication to improving outcomes for students by strengthening the systems and practices that best support them.
